Hello everyone!  I know your all dying to know the results of our Family Fun Fair this year.  Well we were very successful again, and raised approximately a little more than last year.  This is amazing considering we were competing with 4 other events in our neighbourhood that same week, and 2 that same night! Similar events were hosted at 2 of the schools we were targetting etc.  So for our little community we did great! 

Our expenses this year were a tad higher as we added a little more of everything... the obstacle course, and 5 additional ponies.  We also anticipated more food, drinks, chips, prizes etc.  So after all our added expenses we did alright.  Our event was paid for, only thing Johnson and I needed to pay out of pocket were extra food items, licenses and permits.

So much work, and we are soooo exhausted.  I think this event was a bit ambitious of us this year... health considering.  The important thing is that the kids had a whack of FUN, Johnson and I got to meet some amazing people (Stephen McDougall), and we were much better organized so there were no bottleneck line ups this year, and that we had the help from so many volunteers!  THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED!!!  This is not the type of event that 2 people can pull off... it takes an army of people who helped us, so to them I say thanks!

So it's off to Alliston, ON to speak at Baxter Corporations 50th Anniversary party on Saturday June 23rd! Whoo Hoo!  We are looking forward to taking a leisurly train ride to Toronto on Friday with the girls.  It's time we will savour with them, as we have been soooo busy lately!  Then hopefully we will swim in the hotel's pool and maybe take in a movie too?  Who knows?
